Welcome to The Bolles School, Ponte Vedra Campus Library Program!
The Library is located on the second floor of the main building at the Ponte Vedra Beach Campus. Our collection houses over 7,000 books and periodicals and offers access to age-appropriate databases and digital resources. The Collection aims to reflect the curriculum and the diverse personal reading interests and needs of our learning community and world.
Mission
The mission of the Bolles Lower School Library program is to ensure that children grow as global and empathetic citizens by becoming engaged and enchanted by print and digital literature, growing as effective users of information, and deepening their critical thinking and research skills.
Students in the Lower School:
Gentle Reminders:
There are never any fines. Students are responsible for returning their books in a timely manner in good condition. Should a book be damaged or lost, this will be discussed on an individual basis.
Policies
Selecting a book to take home is the highlight of the library experience! The policies are as follows for circulation:
Students may always request or exchange books between library visits.
During research periods, students will be able to check out more books as necessary. Reminders will be sent home in the event that a book is forgotten – or is still being enjoyed!
I look forward to building a positive literary relationship with your family. Please reach out to me if you have questions or would like guidance! Warmly, Christina Karvounis, MLIS, SLMS Ponte Vedra Beach Librarian (karvounisc (at) bolles (dot) org)
